A body of work built between literature, classical music, the memory of Native peoples, Russia, intimacy, human consciousness, philosophy and liturgy. A book and an album may become two forms of the same research: understanding what a language, a life or a memory leaves in the body.

Aude Volny-Anne develops a personal body of work where classical music, literature, philosophy and liturgy answer one another. Her work seeks a form of mixture: from the Caribbean and the Americas to Russia, from the intimate to human consciousness.
She writes, composes, sings, plays piano and builds cycles where languages, memories and voices are not separated. Part of her work takes up a form that has become rare in contemporary creation: the psalm.
